Local roots, over a decade of hands-on experience, and a genuine commitment to keeping our city's homes warm and dry.
We didn't start as a massive franchise or a faceless national call centre. We began over a decade ago as a couple of time-served Edinburgh plumbers who were tired of seeing people wait days for emergency repairs or getting stung by hidden fees. We knew our city deserved better.
From day one, the goal was simple: offer a genuinely 24/7 service that people could rely on, answer the phone when it rings in the middle of the night, and be totally honest about pricing. Today, we've grown into a tight-knit team of Gas Safe registered engineers covering every inch of Edinburgh, but those core values haven't changed a bit.
Plumbing in Edinburgh isn't like plumbing anywhere else. You're constantly dealing with the quirks of centuries-old architecture. One day you're trying to figure out a shared lead pipe system in a New Town Georgian property, and the next you're fitting a modern condensing boiler into a tight cupboard in a Leith flat.
We know these buildings inside out. We know how the old soil stacks connect in Marchmont tenements, and we know exactly how quickly a poorly insulated pipe can freeze when the wind comes off the Firth of Forth in January. That local knowledge means we fix problems faster and more permanently than engineers who aren't used to the city's unique housing stock.
Every engineer wearing our uniform is a fully qualified, Gas Safe registered professional. We don't subcontract our work out to random tradesmen. We train together, we share knowledge about tricky jobs, and we back each other up. When one of us knocks on your door, you're getting the combined experience of the whole team.
